The Paisley Reader

Reading the Alphabet is now the Paisley Reader: YA and NA book reviews and more!

About Me

Oh, you’ve come here to find out more about me, haven’t you? Oh dear, what to say?

I’m a museum professional by day. I like old things, and cats, and ice cream. I like reading. That’s pretty much a given considering this is a blog about books.  This project started from my desire to get back to reading fiction after the time for doing so dwindled with the progression of my undergrad and grad school studies.  True, I read, and read a lot, but it was rarely a “fun” book or if it was fun, it was not always of my choosing. Originally calling myself Reading the Alphabet, my blogging has evolved way beyond just reading books chosen for their titles based on alphabetical order. I couldn’t be happier with it.

Head on over to the blog to see what I’ve reviewed recently.

I am interested in being contacted by authors and publishers who would like me to read and review their books.  Please see Author Policies for more information. **Note, I need a good 4 to 6 weeks to stick reviews into my reading schedule.**

  3. Hi! I don’t know if I ever offered you a review copy of Part 3 in the Island trilogy… but if you want to read a copy of The Deep, just let me know via jenminkman (at) Hotmail (dot) com. 🙂
